A course for managers, professionals and families relocating to the UK or on secondment for a shorter period. This course can be done in conjunction with Working with the British, which covers the aspects of working life.
For best value this course should be done within the first couple of months of arrival in country or pre-departure for people relocating away from UK.

- Background to Britain, essential history, people and culture adapted to clients needs and interests.
- The British peoples - the four nationalities, regional differences.
- British social values and attitudes and behaviour.
- How to make friends with the British, gift giving, entertainment and hospitality.
- The ten step settling in programme - localised information on regulations, housing, transport, schools, utilities, banks, medical care, dental care, shopping and social services.
- Dealing with culture shock and reverse culture shock on return home.
- Finding work or alternative careers for partners.
