Valladolid is the capital of Castilla y Leon is famed for the quality of its spoken Spanish. It is the home of Cervantes and was a former capital of Spain in the Fifteenth/Sixteenth Century. It was also the home of Christopher Columbus and his house now stands as a museum of Pre-Columbian art. Our school is located in the main square of the historical part of Valladolid – the Plaza Major. The Plaza dates back to 1561 and today is a very lively part of the city with lots of cafes and bars. Come and study Spanish in the real Spain!
Most international airlines fly to Barajas airport. Valladolid also has an airport and a few flights arrive here from major International destinations. Valladolid lies two hours North-west of Madrid. Most students fly to Barajas, then take the metro to the train or bus station where there are trips to Valladolid every hour

Our centre was built in the latter part of the Nineteenth century and is one of the most elegant buildings in the city. The area around the school is fun and full of history and culture.
Enthusiastic students and staff members are responsible for keeping a daily selection of things to do. We organise different events and there are weekly excursions to cities like Segovia, Burgos, Salamanca, Avila, Bilbao, and Madrid. They visit local points of interest, go out in the evenings, and have parties in homes, at bars, or in the school. The University of Valladolid is full of life but doesn't have a social program of its own, so many of the university students come to participate in our activities, boosting the life and reputation of the group events. Many times it isn't even necessary to leave the school to participate in local cultural activities.
'Soy (estoy!)muy contenta por que estudio muchas cosas y también aprendo muchas palabras nuevas. Me gusta mucho la forma de enseñar de la profesora'
